Warranty
Genuine Ford parts have a 12 month warranty period or 20,000 kilometers. Aftermarket parts have 6 month warranty period or 10,000 kilometers.
Warranty applies to the part only. It does not cover labour or any other costs associated with the repair of the vehicle or any consequential loss in relation to the product.
Warranty will be void;
- If the product has been incorrectly installed or damaged during the installation process
- If the product shows evidence of contamination
- If there is misuse or alteration of the product from its original manufacturers specifications
It is recommended that parts be fitted by a qualified professional.
Claim Procedure
If a product is suspected to be faulty, notify us promptly at sales@fordtransitparts.com.au. Proof of purchase must be given with explanation of issue and photo evidence (if available).
Goods will be returned to the manufacturer for review in which if deemed warranty, goods will be either replaced or repaired at no cost to the customer.
If a replacement product is required prior to the decision of the manufacturer, this will be at the cost of the customer. If the product is a valid warranty, the product will be credited.
Pricing and Payment
For products purchased via the website, price (including GST) is shown at time of purchase along with any freight costs applicable. Payment is required at the time of purchase via options available.
For customers considered as ‘trade’ a quote will be given first (excluding GST) for both product and freight. If authority given to proceed, parts will be invoiced and paid according to terms whether that be payment up front or on account.
Special orders must be paid upfront prior to order being processed.
Prices may be altered at any time without notification to take into account increase in costs.
Unfortunately if an error has occurred in pricing, we reserve the right to correct.
Core Charges
Although most parts in the automotive industry are brand new, many are also rebuilt with genuine new parts. Core charges act as an incentive for customers to return old units to suppliers. These can then be rebuilt and re-circulated within the market.
The benefits of this include; keeping costs lower, recycling of old/hard to find parts, waste reduction and keeping parts available that might otherwise be redundant.
The core charge for the unit will be included in the total price. This will be clearly displayed online or disclosed at time of quote.
Once the unit has been sent back to us (Ford Transit Parts) and inspected for reusability, the core charge will be refunded / credited. Please ensure product is still packaged sufficiently when returned.
Conditions
- Any freight charges to return the pump are the customers responsibility
- The returned unit must be able to be repaired – if damaged beyond repair or contaminated the core charge may not be refunded/credited
- Ford Transit Parts is not liable for any damage or items lost during transit
- Customers have up to 30 days from purchase date to return the old unit or otherwise forfeit the core charge
- The returned unit must be clearly marked with customer name and details
Refund and Returns
Request for refund/return must be made within 7 days of purchase. Goods must be returned in original condition (not installed) and without damage.
Special orders are products specifically ordered in from an overseas supplier at the request of the customer. Please note, these items are non refundable unless there is a warranty issue as approved by the manufacturer.
If change of mind, goods must be returned at the cost of the customer and will be refunded upon receipt of goods back to us (Ford Transit Parts). Refund amount will be for the part only as freight costs are excluded.
Shipping Information
Products are delivered nationally using major transport providers including Toll, TNT, Australia Post and Couriers Please. Quoted delivery timeframes are an estimate only. We do not take responsibility for freight delays that are outside of our control.
Order Processing
Orders are processed within 1-2 days. Please note orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends and/or public holidays.
Special orders may take an extended time for delivery. This will be communicated if an order cannot be processed within standard timeframes.
